Splice Botanical Laboratory supplies a number of boutique stores, hotels, game lodges and guest houses in Johannesburg, Durban and the Cape. We believe in protecting and conserving the environment so special care has been taken to ensure our luxurious product range is environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable.

It is locally manufactured in Johannesburg by a qualified member of the Cosmetic Council of South Africa using all natural vegetable based ingredients. Absolutely no petroleum based ingredients are used. All pigments also meet international environmentally friendly standards and are of vegetable origin such as Rooibos Tea.

We at Splice believe that it is all of our responsibility to ensure that our world is preserved for future generations. So our products are kind to our planet, but they are also kind to our customers bodies and souls!

There are two unique, fresh fragrance ranges, namely Wildfell and Magnolia.

WILDFELL is our signature range and consists of 100% pure natural ingredients and oils simply packed in glass, and in the case of the liquid soaps, in plastic containers. Using botanical oils extracted from indigenous Cape herbs, the Wildfell range is a fresh, clean and revitalizing unisex fragrance, reminiscent of a walk through the fynbos in the mountains of the North Eastern Cape.

MAGNOLIA, our second range, is based on the same wild, clean-smelling base but with a note of floral resulting in a more feminine fragrance.

All the products are nourishing without being overly sticky - perfect for our climate. The range has been designed with simple luxury in mind and with the aim of pampering your body and soul. They are a gorgeous and stylish addition to any guest house or hotel bathroom as well your own bathroom at home.

The bath oils use pure Avocado oil as a base, combined with our signature aromatherapy oils. Our oils provide a rich and luxuriant treat for winter-stressed skin.

The Splice product range consists of hand and body lotion, foaming bath milk, bath oil, glycerine soap, liquid soap, room perfume, bath salts, healing foot balm, body scrubs and gorgeous aromatic candles. Splice Botanical Laboratory manufactures 200ml, 375ml and 500ml bottles as well as 50ml containers for the hotel industry.

Splice Botanical Laboratory has added two new unisex fragrance ranges to its stable of eco friendly products, namely Avocado and Lime and Cinnamon and Sandalwood, as well as one exciting stand-alone product, Baobab Body Wax Mousse.

Avocado & Lime

This fresh, zesty fragrance contains nourishing Avocado oil combined with the fresh fragrance of Lime. The combination of these essential oils are rich in anti oxidants and also have an anti aging, stress reducing and refreshing effect. In addition, the essential oil of Lime is used to combat cellulite. Men and woman alike will enjoy this fresh clean fragrance.

Cinnamon and Sandalwood

The health benefits of Cinnamon are well known to stimulate the reduction of cellulite, whilst Sandalwood is healing, moisturising and has an aphrodisiac effect. The unisex fragrance is spicy and exotic without being overpowering. These beautiful oils are combined with anti aging avocado oil and vitamin C to create a beautiful product range that smells and feels good on the skin.

Baobab Body Wax Mousse

Brand new to the Splice range and indeed to the market is our gorgeous new skin treatment, Baobab Body Wax Mousse. This rich mousse is a delicious smelling deeply moisturising skin treatment that can be used for massage in salons, or as a dry skin treatment. The wax melts on contact with the skin creating a richly nourishing oil. The oil is absorbed into the skin leaving it soft and elastic for hours. Baobab essential oil is a superb dry and damaged skin treatment very helpful in the treatment of psoriasis and eczema. It improves skin elasticity and encourages cell regeneration whilst not blocking the pores. We have added one of the rarest oils in the world, Argan oil or "Liquid Gold" extracted from the kernels of the fruit of the Argan tree found in a small part of Morocco. Argan oil is known for its anti-aging benefits. It is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants and has the unique ability to correct age related deficiencies in the skin. All our products are vegetable based and petroleum and paraban free, ensuring they are not only good for your skin, but also kind to our environment.
